SUPERNOVA TO RELEASE ON NOVEMBER 15, 2006

August 22, 2006 — WizKids, Inc., announced today a change in the release date for its Marvel HeroClix Supernova expansion. The date has been moved from the original street date of October 25th, three weeks later to November 15th to ensure the best possible product is delivered and newly imposed quality measures are enforced.

“The release date has been moved to ensure Supernova delivers on what our fans are expecting and more”, said Joe Hauck, EVP Sales, Marketing and Product Development. “This is an outstanding set that will raise the bar for HeroClix players and collectors across the board.”

To coincide with the new product release date, the following approved play events dates are in effect. Marvel HeroClix Supernova New Guy Night will take place October 20 through the 26th. Marvel HeroClix Supernova New Guy Night will feature the Iron Man "Silver Centurion" LE figure. The Marvel HeroClix Supernova pre-release event will now take place on October 28th. The Marvel HeroClix marquee event will now take place on November 16th through the 22nd.

Masters of Evil New and Improved - March 13, 2006

Another change that will become tournament legal after the release of the X-Men Danger Room game is the modification to the Masters of Evil Team Ability. This change will be included in the new, updated Heroclix rulebook that will also be available with the Danger Room game making it a must have for any Heroclix fan. Here's a look at the new TA that will make those MoE's a little bit tougher to take down.

Combat Reflexes Becomes Useful - March 13, 2006

Co-inciding with the release of WizKids X-Men Danger Room for Heroclix is a modification to the COMBAT REFLEXES power. Since its inclusion to the game, this power has been less than useful most of the time. Well, no more as the power has received an definite upgrade that will see players digging through their collections for those figs with the formerly useless CR power. Marvel Heroclix - X-Men Danger Room Game- Februray 6, 2006

Coinciding with the release of Sinister, Wizkids is also making learning Heroclix a snap with the X-Men Danger Room Game. This release contains 6 exclusive X-men figures: Beast, Angel, Colossus, Storm, Jean Grey and Cyclops. The figures are divided into 2 preconstructed teams along with special 3-D objects and a Danger Room map will help players learn the Heroclix rules faster than a Nightcrawler BAMF! Marvel Heroclix - Sinister! - Februray 6, 2006

The next Marvel Heroclix expansion has been announced and its SINISTER! Scheduled to hit stores. Scheduled for release in June 2006, SINISTER will see the release of set focusing on the bad guys of the Marvel Universe with such figures as Rhino, Stiltman, Bullseye and the Trapster. This new set will also see the first release of the special object tokens in the Marvel Universe.

To support the release of SINISTER, Wizkids will have another New Guy Night with a special Spider-Man figure and the "Buy it by the Brick" customers will be able to send away for a special edition Venom figure. For more information on this upcoming set, click HERE.

Heroclix March Tournament Prize Support - January 14, 2006

Wizkids has released information on the prize support for the Collateral Damage Marquee to be held in March. Prizes are the Captain Marvel LE (Mary Marvel) and OMAC 5674 LE. DC Giants Alloy Preview - January 14, 2006

Wizkids has released the next preview in the Giants Collector's set - Alloy! Alloy, from the Kingdom Come storyline, weighs in at 114 points and has an interesting dial. Loaded up front with Charge and Super Strength the defense power of Barrier is a different combination. Getting that early hit in will be important but once Alloy takes a little damage, he's knocked onto a Flurry attack with Super Strength along with Invulnerability. That should allow Alloy to remain in play for a bit to wreck havoc. Late dial Blades, Fangs and Claws along with Perplex should make Alloy a figure to watch out for. DC Heroclix Giants - January 12, 2006

Giants walk among us! As the first collector's set available to those who buy Collateral Damage boosters by the ClixBrix, Wizkids has a special set of 7 figures representing some of the giants of the DC universe. In this case, size does matter as only those of giant statue are in this special set. The included figures are Atom Smasher, Chemo, Validus, Rita Farr, Colossal Boy, Giganta, and Alloy (from Kingdom Come !). This set will be available first to Clix Brick buyers and then will be available for sale in April of 2006. DC Heroclix - New Guy Night II - Superman with Batman TA!

Wizkids has released information on its second New Guy Night to be held in January and its nothing short of super, man. New Guy Night is a promotion which sees experienced players bring a new 'guy' (or girl) out for a quick demo on how to play. The new 'guy' gets a starter set of figures as well as a promotion clix. This time the clix will be the one and only SUPERMAN! This is also not just any Superman but a Superman with the Batman Team Ability. In recognition of Superman's historic team-ups with Batman, this clix has the ability to be stealthed in hindering terrain. Continuing with its "Buy It By The Brick" Campaign with the release of the newest DC set - Collateral Damage - Wizkids has created a new club for all clixfanatics to join. That club is for those who have purchased a Clix Brick ( a bundled package of 12 booster packs) of the latest Heroclix booster expansion from their local brick and mortar gaming store.
